Review on Rockport World Classic Tumbled Leather Men's Shoes for Athletes by John May

I've been wearing Rockports for about 13 years and mostly love them. Unfortunately, I've noticed a loss of quality in the last maybe 5 years. I will be returning this pair due to a manufacturing defect. The tongues on this new pair are about 3/4" shorter than my previous pair and are also much shorter than shown in the picture in the ad. When I tie my shoelaces, the tip of the tongue slips off the top of my leg. Me I included a picture of one of my old shoes next to one of my new ones.I also tried on these and several other Rockports at an upscale department store recently and found that they had the same quality control issues - so it's not just the quality of the from Revain.Until Rockport go back to the great shoes they had in the past I will be buying another brand.
