I had a good feeling that this would be just what I wanted, and it is. Very sturdy band with a nice heft to it. Taking out the links to shorten it was very easy, but I did have to take a peek at YouTube to make sure that I did it correctly. It is the easiest band that I have ever adjusted. It is a little less heavy duty than the metal band on my g-shock watch, but then again, the watch is a lot heavier than my Fitbit. I would have liked to see the fine adjustment capability that my watch band has though. At the clasp, you can adjust the band without taking out a link, just by moving a pin. Even so, I would recommend this band for anyone. I would tell anyone that I know who is buying a Fitbit to order one of these bans at the same time. It really dresses up the Fitbit, is a lot sturdier than the plastic band that comes with the Fitbit, and breathes so it doesn't get slick with sweat when working out.
