This is a high-quality coaxial cable with four shields. I had no problems with the reel and ran a 100 foot cable through my house. Depending on your compression connectors, you may need to remove the inner liner to allow the connector to fully attach. Otherwise, the inner foil will roll up when the connector is inserted, preventing the dielectric from reaching the end of the connector.
