I've repeatedly put off buying a weighted blanket, thinking it's just a fad. After hearing several people rave about it being a helpful tool for falling asleep quickly and staying asleep I gave up and just let them say I LOVE this blanket! I've struggled for years with falling asleep quickly, but even more with staying asleep. The weight of this blanket makes me feel wrapped up nice and tight like my parents used to do for me when I was a kid. I've found that I wake up less at night and feel much more rested when my alarm goes off in the morning. My only recommendation is to get a small alarm clock if you're sharing a bed, as the feeling of heaviness isn't for everyone. My husband doesn't like the feel of a weighted blanket, but since I have a blanket that just covers me and not a large blanket that covers the entire bed, we both sleep happily.
