As standard this is a very well designed and constructed switch box. The laser engraving is very clear and easy to read even without electricity. The hardest part of installing off-road lighting is connecting the switches properly. I assure you that if you are familiar with 12V DC circuits, they are pre-wired so that they are basically ready to be connected and used. The device is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but I'm going to modify my dash to hold it up with very little effort. I can't confirm the claimed weather resistance as I installed it in the cabin (in a place I can't spill coffee on it). I spent less than ten minutes making the final connections. I have tested each switch and found them to be fully functional as described. I was very happy to receive the night vision blocker that protects the red. (I work a lot in the field at night and all my interior lights are red). This saves me a lot of time as my eyes can adjust to the dark quicker than the 30-40 minutes it takes for other colors. My only complaint. is that I could only get a group of three or six radio buttons. Ideally, I need four gears for my application. The included instructions are minimal and suitable for the experienced. If you're new to this sort of thing, you'd better learn it, or better yet, have a qualified technician install the entire circuit for you. Overall I am very happy with this product and look forward to purchasing a switch to complete my installation. .Note: My application is for a 2007 Jeep Liberty equipped for biological sampling in remote areas. I mainly work with nocturnal invertebrates and occasionally some amphibians and have a slightly different lighting system. I have a couple of white LED off road lights and a bunch of red LED lights and spots. This group switch is designed for red outdoor lighting. UPDATE: After installation, I noticed the backlight LED on a switch was not working. I contacted Nilight customer service and provided a picture of the error and a screenshot of my Amazon invoice. They replied the next day and a free replacement was shipped a few days later.
