Review on πŸ’Ž Enhance Precision and Sharpness with Work Sharp WSSAKO81120 Fine Grit by Joshua Douglas

Just amazing - the best belt I've ever owned!

Well, I've had a sharpener that works normally for about 5 years. I really liked the sharpener as it makes the blade razor sharp. The stock straps required some work to get the edge that sharp. Now my knives aren't made of steel, which is easy to sharpen. I have modern super steel blades with M390, VG-12, 20CV compounds. These are very hard steels and it takes a lot of work to sharpen them when they eventually become dull. After a lot of work, the sharpener always has a good edge. Now enter Ken Luke's belt. This thing is fucking amazing. I had a new Benchmade 20CV blade that still had the factory edge. It was time to sharpen, so I decided to try this belt. When sharpening a blade that has never been used on a job before, I usually have to go from a coarse to a fine band with many strokes. This cuts the edge at the angle of the sharpener. I put the knife on this belt and after 20 hits I shaved my hair again. Just unbelievable! I will not use any other belt again. In addition, not much steel is removed during sharpening, so the blade keeps its original shape very well. I have a normal working sharpener. Those straps are too wide for him, but nothing small and a pair of scissors wouldn't fix it quickly. I highly recommend this belt if you enjoy your work.
