This review is on a twill convertible, not vinyl. I recently purchased a 4-door Jeep Wrangler with a twill top. I've never owned a top, didn't know how to clean it initially, but did quite a bit of research. I settled on a boat cleaning brush with soft bristles that would sit comfortably on a long handle (Jeeps are big) but when I looked at them in the store I was quickly struck by how much dust/lint/particulates etc could be picked up. remove I don't want this stuff on a twill! Then I looked at horsehair brushes, which seem to be the standard brush for convertibles, but everyone seems to complain that the hair ends on top. What to do?!?!?! I finally found this Raggtopp brush at Revain and thought why don't you try it. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's fantastic and worth every penny. My advice: get this brush. And buy a good, reliable cleaner made specifically for convertible tops. I went with the 303 brand cleaner but there are many options to choose from. Rinse the top thoroughly with clean water, then spray lightly and then smear with a very small amount of elbow grease. Walk lightly in a circular motion. Then rinse the surface thoroughly again until the soap is gone. If you overdo it with the cleanser, you'll end up standing there forever trying to get it out of your body. This brush does a fantastic job, not too harsh but hard enough to be effective and gentle. And there were no brush particles left anywhere. In fact, I didn't even see a single strand come loose. I highly recommend this brush.
