100Hz 13kHz is what the manual says for its frequency response. It only outputs 1.8 watts but can be noisy. The volume control is extremely sensitive, and the buttons on the front of the stereo make a pretty loud clicking noise when pressed. I wish I could tell it was a clicking sound, but it was a click. Pretty annoying if you try to skip a song at night you will wake up others who are in the room. I only got this for a night radio because it has a USB port. Works very well for this use, not much if you need bass or treble. Medium range is its primary ability. If I knew that the buttons would click the way they do, often louder than the music, I could skip that and pick one with a remote control, but it works, it's useful, and I don't have to burn CDs anymore. hard drives; so not bad, not above average.
