HOG battery, low volume

Yes, uses 8 "D" cells per clip, plays for about 20 hours on a set of 8 "D" cells, volume is LOW, the machine must be played at FULL volume outdoors. "Menu” is a hard-to-understand IQ test, and "instructions” are, well, of course, WHAT instructions? it is below.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No automatic

Only the radio part works.

USB doesn't communicate with anything else. The CD player does not play CDs or MP3s. I have it for the workshop so I can listen to the radio and I have to maneuver all sorts of wires and things to get it actually picking up the signal. The bass button does nothing. If I leave and the antenna is out of order, the signal disappears again. That doesn't mean I live somewhere with few radio signals: the radio is always on AM and FM. The thing is just cheap.

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • is enough

Pretty good, not above average.

100Hz 13kHz is the frequency response specified in the manual. It only outputs 1.8 watts but can be noisy. The volume control is extremely sensitive, and the buttons on the front of the stereo make a pretty loud clicking noise when pressed. I wish I could tell it was a clicking sound, but it was a click. Pretty annoying if you try to skip a song at night you will wake up others who are in the room. I only got this for a night radio because it has a USB port. Works very well for this use, not…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

USB MP3 not working

The main reason for purchasing this radio was the ability to play MP3 files via the USB port. I tried different songs, different USB sticks and none of the files were recognized. The manual is useless, as is the radio. The sound is bad, the volume is not enough, and the antenna picks up stations in the city, but the tuner does not block, and I seriously doubt that it picks up a lot of radio signals in a country where I often work. description finished. look exactly like what I was looking for…

Pros
  • Bass boost control
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Good music system

I ordered this to replace an old boom box I had in the workshop. I've noticed it says "NoUSB" all the time. although a USB stick is connected. The problem was that it takes 5-10 seconds to read the disc and then the menu comes up. My old boombox had a remote control which came in handy when placed on the top shelf. This device doesn't have a remote control function, so you'll need to keep it nearby if you want to fiddle with the buttons a lot or skip to the next song. For the price this is a…

Pros
  • Programmable memory for CDs and MP3s
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
