Review on NAXA Electronics NPB-257 Portable MP3/CD Player with AM/FM Stereo Radio and USB Input- Black/Blue by Sean Young

I ordered this to replace an old boom box I had in the workshop. I've noticed it says "NoUSB" all the time. although a USB stick is connected. The problem was that it takes 5-10 seconds to read the disc and then the menu comes up. My old boombox had a remote control which came in handy when placed on the top shelf. This device doesn't have a remote control function, so you'll need to keep it nearby if you want to fiddle with the buttons a lot or skip to the next song. For the price this is a good boombox with pretty good bass sound. For example an extra jack to connect my MP3 player via the headphone jack. No additional cable is supplied, so you will need to purchase one separately. Cable with headphone jacks on both ends. My shop is dusty so I don't use a CD player. The ability to play MP3s via USB is a really handy upgrade over my old boombox. Find a low-profile flash drive that doesn't protrude as much if you use the carrying handle a lot. Since it is portable, the antenna should be rubber rather than metal. Just my opinion.
