Works great. When I got them I spent several hours sharpening about 40 chisels and 6 knives. I was able to make each edge sharp enough to shave off the hair. I have 300, 600 and 1200. The only problem is that they are not marked. When you receive them, you will easily see and feel the difference. After using them for a while, they all look and feel the same. You can hear and feel the difference when you use them to sharpen, but just holding them in your hands isn't as easy to tell apart. I had to engrave the sand on the edge. Otherwise I was very satisfied.
