Stones at the perfect price.

High Quality Stones. This initial break is quick, no more than a use or two. I could quickly fashion one of my pesky super-hard knives, and my chisels and planes were sharp enough to shave me in just minutes.

Works great. When I got them I spent several hours sharpening about 40 chisels and 6 knives. I was able to make each edge sharp enough to shave off the hair. I have 300, 600 and 1200. The only problem is that they are not marked. When you receive them, you will easily see and feel the difference. After using them for a while, they all look and feel the same. You can hear and feel the difference when you use them to sharpen, but just holding them in your hands isn't as easy to tell apart. I had…

Works great but each takes about 11 minutes to break

Took some time to break them (11 minutes each). the back of the blade as far as possible. They suggest using the Krud Kutter and doing intervals of 1 minute once and 2 minutes 5 times for a total of 11 minutes. This will remove any diamond pieces that may become detached. Then I started working with the old cleavers. Have a 50+ year old cleaver that was only coarsely sharpened with a Lansky disc to finely sharpened with diamond blades and now they cut paper very quickly. I now sharpen planer…
