Review on Heininger 4037 HitchMate TruckStep Pick Ups by Luis Despain

Apologies for the only 1 star rating but if you can't even find the correct hole position for a stock factory receiver, get this. How difficult can this calculation be for a company like Heininger? The second hole is approximately 1/8 inch smaller than the hitch pin can be inserted. Maybe it's a bad weld, but it still indicates poor quality control. The anti-vibration thing is a nice little feature, but 1) I don't care, and 2) it's useless if I can't use the hitch pin latch along with it. A wooden spacer works just as well and is much cheaper. i give it back I will buy another model 4045. I had a 4045. It fit perfectly and lasted 10 years. Technically I could keep using it, but the rubber pad fell off last summer.
