I would give 5 stars but unfortunately the pin on the plug does not connect to the standard Christmas garland string. I ended up having to detach the Christmas lights and place them on the tree so the two plugs were side by side and then hoist the 3 socket extension cord to the top of the tree. Very frustrating as this is clearly meant to be simply attached to a string of lights on a Christmas tree. Also, all of the included green zip ties broke every time I tried to use them. I ended up using a turn tie that came with a light thread. And it took some time to assemble. I wish there were other options for the outer stars, but this was the only one I could find.
