Review on FZONE Aquarium Regulator Solenoid Standard by Mary Pattinson

I understand that most Revain buyers don't read negative reviews. If you are reading this, you are one of the smart ones. Now take my advice to heart. Do not buy this product. I was one of the buyers who read the negative reviews and figured that manufacturing defects don't happen to every buyer of this product, so I went ahead and took a chance. I should have realized that if I was spending $60 I shouldn't risk it. This regulator was leaking from the start. After going through 5 pounds of CO2 in 2 days I realized this was the problem. I went and bought another CO2 tank ($23). Plugged the regulator back in and spent about an hour checking for a leak. I found a leak. As I plugged this leak with my finger, gas began to flow out of the gauge cap. Silly me. I thought maybe I could get the regulator to do 'jury' work. Wrong again. It kept dripping and now I had a regulator that I couldn't return to get my money back. So I went online, found a German made CO2 regulator and bought it. It cost me $140 but comes with a 10-year warranty and a 10-year after-sales service agreement. Chinese scrap or German technology? It was an easy choice for me. do yourself a favor Do not buy this regulator. If you're not going to buy the controller I bought, at least look for a product that's made in the USA. Don't try to save money by buying cheap and then hoping for the best.
