My 6 year old son loves dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. This is a really neat toy for the pool or the bathtub. We tried it out in the bathtub and it works exactly as described. It is designed to only operate when it makes contact with water so the motor doesn't get burnt up. As soon as it was halfway submurged in the tub, the blue light turned on on top of the dinosaur. It quickly paired with the remote control and was pretty easy to operate. The RC takes AAA batteries but the dinosaur comes with 2 rechargeable batteries as well as an USB charger. It seemed to charge pretty quickly as well.
