Review on Stay Hydrated On The Go With The RTIC One Gallon Jug - Your Ultimate Travel Companion by Kristi Martinez

Best bang for you buck

It took me a while to pull the trigger on this buy and I’m so glad I did! I do see what some of the other reviewers mentioned, like the mouthpiece is a little small but not that big of issue to me. I actually ordered some long silicone straws to make drink out of this jug a little earlier. Other reviewers also mentioned the thin plastic piece that holds the cap. If you’re not too rough on the cap, I think it’ll serve its purpose and will last. Now let’s talk ice. I live in New Mexico and work out of my car and I can say, some of the days hit the high 90s and I usually fill up the jug with ice and water first thing in the morning and by the evening there’s still plenty of ice remaining! I own yeti and hydro flask bottles and I can honestly say they don’t preserve ice the way this RTIC jug does.

Pros
  • The jug is easy to store, taking up minimal space in your gear bag or car
Cons
  • May not fit in a kayak or canoe
