Ribbon unwound and ruined
Never had a problem with my machine or mini ribbons (different brand). We bought this brand and unwound the first cassette and put it in the video camera. I had to manually disassemble the camcorder in hopes of salvaging what was on the tape, but unfortunately it was damaged (like my camcorder).
