After reading many reviews on several CAI kits I decided the new filter was key. With the hood closed, there's not much performance gain besides the filter. I didn't like the factory pipe between the airbox and throttle body. Because of its shape, it looked a bit like it would interfere with airflow. Good guide there. Installation took about 15 minutes. Tip: Quick connect hoses need to be pushed onto flat surfaces and then disconnected. The big hose with the white clamp was a bit finicky. I completely removed the sound tube, you can find information on this on many other websites. I used the plug for the firewall that I found in the Home Center.
