Okay, I bought this thing about 10 weeks ago and use it almost every day. Here's the shovel. He cooks meat like a dream. I've cooked pork steaks, roast beef, roast pork, chicken quarters, whole chickens and french fries in it. Everything is crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Once I tried to cook sauce for spaghetti, and the other for stew. Doesn't work, worth the crap for it. It's also pointless trying to use both grates at the same time, with one layer of food on the top grate and another on the bottom grate. The food on top will burn to a crispy crust long before the food below is done. Also works so-so just for steaming veggies. The cooking time is also reduced by around 33%. I see a lot of people complaining about the grip. Yes, the grip is a bit thinner than the rest of the machine. So don't test its limits. mine is fine Cleaning the glass bowl and coasters is very easy. But now comes my biggest negative comment. The cover with fan housing and bulb has to be partially removed with a screwdriver from time to time as spatter builds up on the fan blades and bulb. This is a pretty delicate operation and you can easily break a car or a lightbulb if you're not careful. Also, make sure it is unplugged before you begin. As I said at the beginning, I used mine almost every day for 10 weeks. That means I had to take the lid apart twice out of 70 uses to clean it. Not such a bad trade-off for use, but it's a trade-off. It takes about an hour to remove the cover, clean and assemble. For this reason alone I gave the stove 4 instead of 5 stars.
