Overall I like the design and finish of this product. However, I got into a very frustrating situation that ended up costing me a lot of time, money and worry. I found that one of the ports on my panel is faulty and unable to connect one of the 8 wires. At first I suspected that it was a defective stamp or a bad cable. I ended up running a brand new 75 foot cable to fix the problem. In the end I finally figured out that this is a bad port on the patch panel. It never occurred to me to consider this factor. My main complaint is that this is a defect that should have been found at the factory through testing of the basic equipment. I doubt many other buyers will face this situation. But maybe this review will help some others understand the situation better than me. If you have a bad connection. try a different port.
