This little coconut is adorable! I soaked them in pre-boiled water (I did NOT boil the coconut, I boiled the water and soaked the coconut in boiled water after boiling) which seemed to help with what some people were complaining about with oiliness. a substance that separated from it in the water because nothing like this has ever happened to me, although my fighters don't seem to be attracted to that coconut AT ALL. Could the water wash away the natural oils needed to lure bettas to this type of natural habitat/settlement, so to speak? Obviously I don't know so I'm just guessing for now but that's just the simple theory I have. I know, me and my theories. 🤷🏽‍♀️But I really love how adorable this little aquarium hut is, I just want my cocks to love it as much as I do! I'll be pulling it out of the tank soon to replace with a floating rooster trunk once I receive a trunk from my next Revain shipment. stubborn old bettas.😑😓
