Review on DuraGo BR31337 Front Vented Brake by Loren Rindfleisch

Not as easy as the youtube video

Fitted on a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The problem was that the previous discs were crooked, causing tremors under braking. I myself doubted whether it was worth installing them, but after watching the video on YouTube I decided to try. It didn't hurt that these discs were so affordable! Installation was pretty easy. The only problem was that a bolt sits just behind the disc guard and is surrounded by the brake lines. A rocking head would help. To remove the hard drive, you also need to unscrew the Phillips screw. If you don't have the right screwdriver, be careful not to break the screw! Oh yes, the video shows the easy removal of the drive after all the bolts and screws have been removed. Not in my case. It took a lot of WD-40 and hammer blows to get this bad boy loose! All in all it's not too hard work and I would do it again. Plus incredible savings. Complete brake work (front and rear rotors and pads) in less than 200!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Generally ok but...
