According to the description, a USB charging cable is included. For me, charging would mean using a battery. It doesn't seem to be. The "charging cable" is actually a power cable. The device turns on only when it is connected to the network. Another problem I have is related to the temperature display in the app. On the device itself you can switch between F and C by pressing the button on the back. This does NOT change what is shown in the application. In the settings there is an option "Temperature Unit" which can be changed between C and F. Even though I change it to F, the app always shows the temperature in Celsius.
