About a month ago I adopted 2 year old Jermaine Shepard from an animal shelter. I was the third owner of this dog. The dog has not had a single accident indoors and generally behaves like an angel when indoors. Once you get them out, it's a whole different story. She threw my wife to the ground as she reacted to another dog and pulled me off the dam. I had never thought of using a spiked collar. They look like medieval torture instruments. But I watched a few YouTube videos on how effective they are and pulled the trigger. I rarely used the collar because I was wracked with guilt and thinking it would destroy the relationship I had with the dog. Tonight I put the collar on and followed the tips I learned from YouTube and oh my god. Doesn't matter. The dog walked on the free leash in an ideal position on the heel. We passed a dog and a fix got him back on his heels. I would recommend it to anyone having trouble walking their dog.
