The design and overall look and build of the journal is fine so far. However, this is literally day one of using it and i took my pen out of the pen holder and it apparently broke. I didn’t realize that it had broken until I went to put the pen back in. I mean it’s not that big of a deal because as you can see in the photo I have just used the lock piece to hold my pen. It just shows that the stitching is poor. Hopefully the journal holds up and the lock continues to work without any issues though.
