This ladder has two steps about a foot apart, and the frame extends another half-foot higher. The frame is one tall bend of tubing, with a smaller bend that folds out, and the main hinge seems durable. Each step is a single piece. The supports for the steps are thin, but seem strong enough. I climbed up and it felt like my weight was not a strain on it. The only weak point is the flimsy safety latch. It is just a small flat curve of metal that you swing out when you set up the ladder, and it holds on to the top step’s support at one end. It wouldnt take much to bump it out of place, so dont get rowdy when climbing this ladder.
