I recommend this tool over the part arc tool sold online/at auto parts stores. The full plate prevents the water pump sprocket bolts from falling into the timing chain case. It just costs extra money to eliminate that tension (in fact it was cheaper than some sub tools when I bought it). It really didn't cause any problems and didn't slow down the installation at all. YOU NEED THIS TOOL!
