Seeing and using the touchscreen in the sun will be minimal at best. If visibility is important, this is not the best option. When the phone is used as a speedometer, it is visible but barely. The device is more of a case than a mount. There is enough space behind the cell phone for glasses and a small pouch with change. The zipper design looks interesting and effective, but I didn't test it in the rain. The mount offers a simple, vibration-resistant design that gives you peace of mind that your phone and other items won't fall off.
