This crop sensor version of the Nikon Z6/Z7 is amazing. I use it as a backup for my full frame Z7 and it doesn't seem like a compromise. Although the sensor is only 20.6 megapixels, the images are pin-sharp even with reasonable cropping. Color and clarity are top notch when used with inexpensive kit lenses. It is SMALL but the ergonomics are very good. This will be my choice for travel/trips. With the Z7 and this Z50, my travel bag has been reduced by 50% in size and weight compared to the "old days" of last year when I carried 2 DSLRs and their respective lenses (both camera and lens were much larger/ heavier) . . The Nikon Z system is truly amazing.
