This crop sensor version of the Nikon Z6/Z7 is amazing. I use it as a backup for my full frame Z7 and it doesn't seem like a compromise. Although the sensor is only 20.6 megapixels, the images are pin-sharp even with reasonable cropping. Color and clarity are top notch when used with inexpensive kit lenses. Nikon Z50 has a small compact design. Even with the lens, battery and SD card, it weighs 585 grams. The electronic viewfinder is very good with minimal lag. It only has 1 SDXC slot and UHS-1 speed. The Z50 is small, pretty and compact, with good handling and just fantastic kit lenses. I hope and pray that one day they will give us some fast Dx Prime lenses, but the 16-250mm lineup of two lenses with very light weight and excellent optics made me happy.
