Best Camera: Digital Cameras

I'm really impressed with the latest Nikon Z50 product. This is truly the best camera I have ever tried in my life. The Z50 is Nikon's first outing (I've used the Sony A7III and Fujifilm X-T2 before) and I firmly believe Nikon is a photography legend. I hope your company releases more lenses for the Z50 and I'm happy. with your kit lens now. This is the best lens I've ever used. Here are some photos taken with your camera and the original kit lens. The color rendering is excellent.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Very good camera. Batteries are too expensive!

This is a great entry-level mirrorless camera, but it has at least one major downside for the consumer. Compact lenses are surprisingly good. I'm still learning about UI menus. I currently have no complaints or complaints about the camera other than the stratospheric cost of extra batteries. The second battery is currently $70 from Revain or whatever source I can find, while I can get higher-end Nikon mirrorless cameras for as little as $10. If you plan on carrying a few spare batteries, this…

Baby Z6 behaves like an adult!

This crop sensor version of the Nikon Z6/Z7 is amazing. I use it as a backup for my full frame Z7 and it doesn't seem like a compromise. Although the sensor is only 20.6 megapixels, the images are pin-sharp even with reasonable cropping. Color and clarity are top notch when used with inexpensive kit lenses. It is SMALL but the ergonomics are very good. This will be my choice for travel/trips. With the Z7 and this Z50, my travel bag has been reduced by 50% in size and weight compared to the "old

The affordable mirrorless camera I've been waiting for!

Nikon Z50 has a small compact design. Even with the lens, battery and SD card, it weighs 585 grams. The electronic viewfinder is very good with minimal lag. It only has 1 SDXC slot and UHS-1 speed. It uses MicroUSB instead of Type-C. The general build quality is excellent. Selfie camera mode is very useful for vlogging. Low light performance is not bad for a DX (crop) sensor. The price is fair and I recommend it with the 16-50 F3.5-6.3 lens. The lens features VR and the camera features…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • For old

The Z50 is small, pretty and compact, with good handling and just fantastic kit lenses. I hope and pray that one day they will give us some fast Dx Prime lenses, but the 16-250mm lineup of two lenses with very light weight and excellent optics made me happy. Love the fact that one mount operates the Dx and Fx sensors the same as the other mounts. I am at home with Nikon ergonomics, they are clear to me. The images are more than brilliant. I haven't experienced such satisfaction in a long time…

  • Don't waste too much time

No power adapter, no headphone jack, Janky apps

So the camera itself is fine, but the connectivity issues here aren't worth the compromise at this price point.1. This camera does not have AC power input. So you have to keep changing, charging and fiddling with batteries all the time, even though you're constantly using the camera inside. Didn't even think to check if that's true, but it's very important for everyday use.2. There's no headphone jack, so it's very difficult to judge the sound quality without casting the media to another…

Pros
  • New to my collection

  • Only available in black

Great camera and lenses, but practically limited to two lenses

I was looking for a smaller, more versatile camera as an alternative to my large, full-frame DSLR. For me, the field includes the Nikon Z50, Panasonic GX9, Fujifilm X-T30 and Olympus E-M5 (all comparable in size, resolution and features). I would highly recommend the Z50 to any mirrorless camera user just starting out. Benefits include: + Lens sharpness and image quality on par with the 20-megapixel range or better than anything else + Comfortable handling and a nice viewfinder + Lenses cover a
