I bought this for my convertible. The reversing camera, mounted near the rear-view mirror, mainly captures the interior. The viewing angle is enough to show side impacts and part of the rear, but if you want to see the area behind the car in full you'll need something with a remote camera. Rear vision is dark at night except for the headlights of cars behind you. The audio is a bit weak but can be used to hear conversations or activities outside the home. Not what I would use for Youtube. The view ahead is very clear with a wide viewing angle. Setup is easy. You set the date and time, pop in a microSD card (I used 64GB) and you're done. It turns on and starts recording automatically and turns off when you turn off the car. The display is equipped with an auto-dimming timer for more discreet recordings. All in all, this is a cheap and very effective security feature for any car.
