The advertising says universal, but that doesn't suit me at all. I'm a tall guy (6ft 4in). The straps barely connect (not enough to hold them up). Instead, I bought a Mueller knee orthosis and am very happy with it. The hinges in both look pretty much the same so I thought about keeping this product in case something happens to the hinges in my Muller when I notice something odd. As pressure is applied to the hinge, it becomes stiffer and stiffer until it stops moving. I'm not sure if this will be a problem or not as this product doesn't work for me so I can't test it but that doesn't happen with the Mueller bandage which loosens even with pressure on the bandage is exercised sides.
