It's bigger on my knee/leg than it looks in the product photo. It really doesn't go under your pants. However, it works quite well to prevent pain in my arthritic knee. On the rare days I'm not wearing it, I'm in a lot of pain, and on the days I wear it, the pain is either non-existent or not very noticeable. Although it's bulky, it's also quite effective.

It keeps my knee from sagging and makes me feel safe while walking. I just wish the velcro straps were longer and wrapped in the front instead of the X-bands. These short straps leave a very unsightly bulge under the pants. Otherwise it does exactly what it should. I've worn it with and without liners as the holes in all knee pads rub against my patella and it's definitely a very good knee brace.

I bought some knee pads from Walgreens which worked but were not meant to be worn for long and I was sweating profusely while wearing them! The day I got them in the mail, I tucked them under my pants (which was hard to tell I was wearing suspenders) and forgot I was wearing them! No sweat, comfy and braces keep my arthritic knee from bending the wrong way causing me excruciating pain! Highly recommend if you have arthritis or some kind of knee injury!

My knee hurts because of osteoarthritis. I'm trying to avoid knee surgery. I really like this brace and would give it a 5 except I wish it was tighter for the strap under my knee. The advertising says universal, but that doesn't suit me at all. I'm a tall guy (6ft 4in). The straps barely connect (not enough to hold them up). Instead, I bought a Mueller knee orthosis and am very happy with it. The hinges in both look pretty much the same so I thought about keeping this product in case something happens to the hinges in my Muller when I notice something odd.
