Review on Timex Unisex Ironman Classic 30 34mm Watch: Optimal Style and Performance by Mike Sutton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Normal for a man (thin wrists)

I have an old men's Ironman that is showing some wear and needs replacing. The group is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the bottom of my wrist, closer to the part of the wrist that curves forward. A strap that is too long sometimes dangles and sticks to things. I couldn't find a men's version with a smaller strap, so I tried this "women's" watch (choosing the manliest of course). i like it more The band sits much better on my wrist with a metal band in the middle and no flex. I also like that the watch is lighter, and the dial and strap are smaller and less bulky, making it less noticeable when worn (cycling weight lovers will appreciate this). The face is still big enough to be legible and has the same great features as my men's Ironman watch, plus the newer versions now have the hour chime, nice! Additional Info: My wrist circumference is 17.5 cm or 7.0 inches. In this watch I use the 6th of 9 slots on the bracelet. In my men's Ironman I use 3 out of 9 slots. Weight: this one = 28g, men = 39g Pictures show a comparison of my previous male Ironman with this new "female" Ironman. The order of the photos is confusing (couldn't figure out how to change this). They are: (1) side by side, male on left side, (2) male sash (wider and clasp off center on my wrist, end of sash hangs on edge of my wrist - too long for me - hangs on things ), (3) a women's bracelet (less wide, the clasp is more aligned with my wrist, and the end hangs at the edge of my wrist), (3) a women's watch (smaller and looks new), and (5) a men's watch that looks a little worn out.
