To be honest I was a bit skeptical when I saw the box but inside (and well protected) was probably the strongest gate I have ever used. We've had plastic, cheap wooden, and even wall mounted ones, but that's the real deal. It's SUPER durable and was pretty easy to install. It comes with small feet to ensure the product is not strictly supported by pressure pads and all the things you need to set it up in most situations. With a little ingenuity and the various extensions included in the box I was able to craft a very tight fit and I'm sure it will last us for years to come :-). The manufacturer checked after delivery that we were satisfied, gave instructions both in the delivery confirmation and in the box itself.
