This bag has many extras. The fabric, stitching etc are excellent. It comes with two vertical latches on each side at the top and one vertical latch about a third of the way down for attachment to the frame. The latches only fit standard-size rails, which are smaller than the heavy-duty rails on bicycles designed to carry cargo. However, on newer bikes, these rails are often attached to the side for just this purpose. The latches can also be a little annoying as they fit snugly into the rack but prevent it from slipping. Leather buckles can be stubborn too, but I've only pushed the tab through each hole a few times. This stiffness actually speaks for the quality of the leather, not a flaw. The shoulder strap works well for carrying the bag and is very comfortable. I don't know the exact dimensions, but it fits at least two 2 liter bottles on each side, either vertically or horizontally. I usually carry my laptop, books etc in it, but I've also used it for small shopping trips. I love it.
