This 20ft leash has changed my life and my dog's life!

I ordered a 20ft leash and it has changed my life! In earnest! My dog Addy is 21 months old. On September 22, she underwent life-saving, life-changing open-heart surgery to correct congenital pulmonary valve block. Now she has a synthetic plaster in it. Just before the operation, she could not stand by the bowl to eat. I had to put her food to bed. She would get tired halfway across the kitchen and just lie down. She almost didn't live to see the operation. She had failed balloon surgery in August and it was very likely that she would not survive open-heart surgery. Thankfully, the people at Tufts/Foster Hospital in Massachusetts were amazing and saved Addie's life. I got used to the fact that she was a sick dog who really overworked and got tired so easily. The surgery turned her into a new dog! Now she has a lot of energy and wants to play in the snow and go for walks here in Mid Maine. I raised Addie for the local Humane Society and hoped she would be 100% healthy after the surgery but that didn't happen. Knowing that she would always have special needs, some limitations and some level of care, I decided to go ahead and accept it. I also have heart and lung problems and am disabled. Caring for a young, mostly healthy puppy wasn't really on my agenda, but Addie and I connected during our thousands of miles of traveling due to her visits to the ER for a breast puncture to remove fluid from her breast. , and her visits to Tufts in Massachusetts for surgery and subsequent visits to her cardiologist, 3.5 hours one way. Addie and I are on the same meds so I know exactly what she's going through. I don't have a fenced yard and I have 8 steps outside that we have to go up and down every time Addie needs to go outside. Since she, like me, takes diuretics, she has to go out a lot. Before the surgery, it was common for us to walk up and down stairs 25-30 times a day. In the summer it wasn't too bad but when it started raining and then in the winter we had a hard time going up and down the stairs. Thankfully it's only 5-15 times a day now, but it's still a lot for Eddie and I. I knew I had to find a way to get her down the stairs until I got to the bottom. My first thought was 20 feet of line. I wasn't sure how a long leash would work as Addie had never gone outside without being on the leash within 6ft of me in the past 7 months. For health reasons, she is not allowed to go outside without a leash. In the summer she was on vacation, but I was with her in the yard. Eddie weighs 35 pounds, a cross between an American Foxhound and a Beagle, but she is incredibly strong. I mean how terribly strong for a dog her size. I knew I would need a lead I could trust. I was very pleased to see the quality of the leash when I received it. The buckle also looked very secure. After raising over $10,000 for Addie's medical care and heart surgery, losing her to an inferior leash would have been a disaster, so a major benefit took precedence. I was a little nervous the first time she walked down the stairs without me, but I trusted your guidance. We've been using it every day since we got it. Addie can go downstairs in the rain, cold and snow and mind her own business and I can stay hidden in the hallway but keep a tight grip on her thanks to the Leashboss leash. I was also able to take Addie to the backyard where she could run and play a little in the snow with a leash. I don't have to worry about tripping over the 6 foot leash when she wants to run and play. The freedom this leash has given me and Addy is incredible. It really changed our lives for both of us. If that leader didn't work so well, I would have had to think about letting someone else adopt Addy. I would do it if it was for the best for her although it would break my heart if I lost her but thanks to the Leashboss 20ft leash my pup is with me and we can have a better life. I don't know if you've heard many stories about how your leads have changed someone's life, but just thought you should know that Addy and I are very happy with this product. Thanks for making such great products! I appreciate the tips you sent on the 20ft running shoes!
