Not good for office electronics

There are several issues with this scanner. Most of them are software related, so there is a small chance that this will be fixed in the future. Using alternative scanning software can also help avoid some problems. The only problem the software definitely cannot solve is the width of the scanner aperture - it's too narrow for some letter/legal paper. 75-90% of the blades are fine, but those on the broader side of the spec tolerances are too big to fit. Main software issues: 1. The scanner is very sensitive to the quality of the USB cable, and sometimes the connection between the computer and the scanner is lost. The real problem is that the software cannot reconnect to the scanner. The safest way to reconnect is to restart your computer. I could sometimes avoid this by killing the scanner processes from the task manager and disabling/re-enabling the scanner, but that doesn't work every time. And if you were to scan multiple sheets, you wouldn't be able to save any of themβ€”you'd have to rescan the entire batch. It seems that a good USB connection avoids this particular problem.2. Sometimes the program freezes in scan mode even if the scanner is not scanning. Even if you can cancel the current scan, all data scanned in that batch will be lost. Of course, if you have to end the process, you will lose the whole game.3. Image processing is also unstable. For example, if you need to rotate multiple images after scanning and select them all at once, the program is likely to crash. Even if it isn't, some of the processed images might be deleted - you'll see their placeholder, but any attempt to do anything with them (including saving) will result in an error. Trying to rotate images in smaller sets seems more reliable, but crushing/damaging is still possible. Also, there are many small annoyances. For example, the filename pattern has a fairly short length limit, which later requires additional renaming, trying to replace part of the pattern with a selection, pasting from the clipboard doesn't erase the originally selected text, and so on and so forth and so on. etc.
