I've been able to make use of the umbrella and I think it's quality is fine for the price, it's a great value.I purchased this because at the time, the seller answer below said the pole diameter was 1.5", however this is really a 2" pole (just shy). This is going into an AquaStar USXXX series pool umbrella sleeve that has a max diameter of 1 5/8" (designed for 1.5" poles). Rather than hassle with the return I ordered a 1.5" OD x 0.375" Wall Aluminum Round Tube from online metals. Then I used a hacksaw to remove the pin in the umbrella pole, and am now able to slide the umbrella over this rod. I'll need to drill a hole through the pole so I can put in a pin so it doesn't spin in the wind.Customer service saw my review (originally 3 stars) and replied, offering to refund me. They also responded to my message and deleted the incorrect answer below.
