Used as a stepping stone from garage to house every day. In the beginning it was great. We're nowhere near 400 pounds and the mids (which have no real support) started cracking and loosening after about the first week or so. Right now it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt, so we'll most likely throw it away. I would not recommend this item as it does not stand up to normal wear and tear. It was pushed back to Christmas for my disabled father as part of his gifts (the subject made his life easier) and now we're outside the returns window. I am not happy.
