I'm short and needed a few extra inches to get to the bottom of our washing machine. I was afraid that the step stool would slide out from under me because I was pushing it at an awkward angle, and I figured that half step might be just right, and it was. I use it on tile floors and even when I bend over the washing machine it never slips off. If you just need a few inches of extra buoyancy, I think this is a good option.

Love it! I was 12 when I had to walk out the back door onto the patio without a single step between them and it took a toll on my knees. I always said that the step should be inline and this step solved my problem perfectly. It is durable and will stay in place during use. It is also easy to move as it is lightweight. Seems well done!
