Review on ZOOFOX Storage Latching Stackable Organizer by Dylan Hohd

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quality is lower than I expected

I have *many* boxes this size for storing electronics/miscellaneous. I prefer boxes with an acceptable top latch and handle as I often take several of these with me wherever my project is. Buying containers online has never been very cost-effective. Latch and handle containers are also a bit more expensive - I can find containers (higher quality) for about $3-4 at local hardware stores and superior quality for about $7.50 - so that's what I thought when I saw them for about $4 each. I would try, the plastic is very thin. The top latches click into place, but very weakly. I have to double check the latch before lifting it or else I get a one on one which will cause the contents to squirt out. The clasps get a little stiffer as you go a little beyond the capacity of the container. However, because the plastic is very thin, the semi-rigid cable, which is too big for the box, dents/deforms the box very easily, making it difficult to reattach the flimsy top in a way that it snaps into place. transparent or as close to transparent boxes as possible, and the images gave the impression that they were at least translucent. It was an illusion; the light transmission comes from the fact that the plastic is *very thin* but is probably 90% or more opaque; You can only see the contents of the bin where thick cables cut into the bead and dents - in this case you can usually tell the color of the part of the cable that touches the plastic.
