Very good quality model

This is a very interesting model to assemble. It will take you a lot of time and a lot of patience to get it right. I've built ten models from UGears and several models from other companies, that's not the hardest, nor the hardest. And the seesaw reducer is not very complicated, you just need patience to assemble it. Lightly sand the gear teeth with fine sandpaper (I use 320 grit) and wax them well (regular paraffin candle works better than the included wax). Sand all bearing surfaces and wax well. The pendulum mechanism and rocker must be smooth and waxed. If it moves or slips, apply wax to it. I don't think you can overdo it. Once the mechanism is assembled, it needs to be started (the instructions say 5x360, but that's wrong, it should be 5x180) and start the mechanism. The first few times you'll have to help it manually, but once it's set up, it starts working on its own. It usually takes four to six passes through the coil for it to work well. The rubber bands fit the wheel parts very well, but you have to stretch them to get them in. You may need two people or a vise, which I used to secure the bands in the small mount. Rub the tabs on the pieces of wood before sticking them in, they go in much easier, wax the toothpicks too, it really helps. There are few parts that use toothpicks and they are on the external components rather than the gear mechanism. The result is a very beautiful model. It works well and mine runs about 9 feet in the wind. Another quality product from UGears.
