Review on 🚽 Superior Pump 93501: Reliable 1/2-HP Cast Iron Sewage Pump with Tethered Float Switch by John Arsov

This is a replacement for a clogged 3/4hp pump. It was significantly lighter and the capacity was very close to 3/4 and well above my normal usage. Note that the pump's float switch may not be in the ideal position if you are installing it in a well. For example, if you make good use of the standard size and lower the pump dead center, there will definitely not be enough room to change. Therefore, you must install the pump so that it is almost against the wall AGAINST the pump's float switch. This way you give the switch enough space to move and move around depending on what it wants. Very important! Never underestimate how much freedom a pump switch requires. Also, despite what you see in the photos or videos of this product, there is NO entry screen. If you look at the pump inlet from below you will only see a large 1.5" or 2" hole, no strainer. I don't think it's a problem, but just something to keep in mind if it's beneficial to you.
