The socket worked perfectly. It's a lot easier to get my IPR out multiple times once I've replaced my HPOPs, IPRs, ICPs, plugs, risers, injector pressures and valve covers. I had to take mine off several times during the high pressure recovery process for various reasons. Worked great
- Replacement IPR Valve Seal Kit with Head Tool - The injection pressure control valve controls the oil bypass circuit of the high pressure oil pump. This is a solenoid valve that opens and closes to allow high pressure oil into the injectors. When the oil system becomes contaminated with dirt or debris, the IPR valve screen ruptures, allowing the debris to enter and jam the piston mechanism inside, preventing the vehicle from pressurizing.
