Great for pyrography

The wood is very smooth and burns fairly easily. I found I had to sand it down a bit, but it's very easy to work with and doesn't require much additional finishing before firing. Having never worked with basswood I can't tell how it differs from other specimens but it is one of the finest plywoods I have ever worked with. I was very happy with the quality I got for the price. This is definitely a product I will order again in the future.

Not the size i needed but i was able to glue some together and paint them for what i wanted
