Filling lip balm tubes has never been easier!

I'm so thankful I ordered this kit for my first attempt at making homemade lip balm. It would be frustrating to fill the tiny tubes without something to hold them. We are a family of 4 all addicted to Burt's Bees lip balm so I wanted to find a cheaper and more natural option. I made a little recipe to make sure it worked and it's awesome! The included scraper gives the sticks a smooth finish so they don't have a hole in the middle, which can happen with homemade lip balms. Highly recommended for DIY, I'll be making lots of these for stockings this year! Imitation Mint Lipstick 4 tbsp. l. Beeswax pastilles 4 tbsp. l. Organic Coconut Oil (unfractionated) 4 tbsp. and butter over low/medium heat in a heatproof glass measuring cup immersed about 2 inches in a saucepan of water until melted. Gradually add peppermint oil until desired flavor is achieved. Fast dispensing in preloaded tubes. If the mixture gets too hard, just heat it up. After they've set for a minute or two, scrape them down with the included spatula to make them smooth. Allow the tubes to harden at room temperature for several hours before removing and capping. This is a wonderful recipe that feels great on the lips and won't melt when carried in your bag all day.

Pros
  • Includes caps for each of the 50 tubes to professionally pack your lip balm! Simply dry the plastic with a hair dryer so it fits your hose. Also included are 64 labels that you can decorate however you like. Make wonderful gifts for friends and family or promote your best recipe for everyone.
