I installed this on a 2006 Ford Focus by replacing the stock cigarette lighter socket. With a little help from Youtube I removed the radio/HVAC console bezel, freed the cigarette lighter, clipped the included quick connect terminals to the orphaned electrical wires, installed the charging module into the cigarette lighter mounting hole (no drama) and plugged in the wires . to the specified module (observing polarity, of course) and returned the front panel to its place. In total I spent about 45 minutes - 35 minutes for research and mental preparation, 10 minutes for the actual work. The product has been serving me well for about a month now. My Samsung S7 definitely charges fast, but I can't verify what charging specification it's using. Assuming my phone is QC 2.0, the only thing that bothers me is the LED backlight. My cigarette lighter circuit is always live, which means the LED is always on. It's winter now; So far, a constant current of 15-20mA has not prevented me from starting the car. I'm afraid if you leave the car for a few days in cold weather, problems may arise.
