I have quality Williams Sonoma pans that cost 4 times the price and can't handle many aspects - poor heat distribution, non-stick coating scratches easily, stains, chipped enamel, carry-on needed. - Wash only, no oven etc. For the price here, this OXO nonstick set is amazing. I love him for many reasons. The heat distribution is excellent and the food cooks perfectly. It is easy to clean and can be washed in the dishwasher. Maybe in the oven! So far the non-stick coating has held up well. They are not too heavy, but not too light either. This is my dream pan for all of these reasons and they are affordable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a functional, beautiful set of pots and pans that won't break the bank and will last long enough to be worth the money. The price here is also lower than other retailers – Walmart $299, Target $299, etc., so even better. Note. This review focuses on a set of 12 non-stick anodized pots and pans. I don't have the frying pan in question either.
